Vitamin E

Three types are known in this group: alpha, beta and gamma tocopherols. Its specific function is to guarantee normal reproduction and muscular metabolism. Their deficiency causes sterility. In the male, degeneration of the germinal testicular epithelium, azoospermia (irreversible sterility), is verified. In the female, the embryo develops for a few days, then atrophies, dies and is reabsorbed with the placenta itself (sterility by reabsorption of the egg).
