Protective technology against visible light? We have!

How then can we protect ourselves from this visible light, if we work in front of the computer and live glued to the cell phone? Those who think that ordinary sunscreens solve the problem are wrong. It is with this in mind that we develop research to produce products with activity to protect against blue light.

“We developed our model for assessing the damage of digital light on the skin and identified that, it is as if it 'sees' light and has its biological mechanisms altered due to exposure,” says Juliana.

For this, several samples were tested on 3D printed bio skin models (after all, we did not test on animals). The Research and Development team concluded that samples with a broad spectrum sunscreen - which offers greater protection against UVA and UVB rays - are able to protect the skin from damage also caused by exposure to blue LED light. This protection can be even better if combined with the use of a certain concentration of pigments.

And that was how the Protector Whitening SPF 70 was born, from Chronos. Its ideal concentration of pigments and filters, acts as a barrier to blue light, preventing damage such as premature aging and the appearance of darkened areas. In addition, this colored sunscreen evens out skin tone, protects against UVB and UVA rays, brightens darkened areas and can be found in two shades: light medium and medium dark.
