The royal jelly is a creamy substance, markedly acidic, with a strong smell and flavor, color and consistency of the condensed milk, produced by glandular secretion by young, working day bees, exclusively destined to the feeding of the larvae and the queen. All larvae are fed with royal jelly in the first days of life; but the queen eats it all her life. The most important minerals contained in royal jelly are: phosphorus, nitrogen, sulfur, calcium, iron, manganese, potassium, magnesium, etc.
