Peanuts are a highly nutritious food. It is high in calories because of its high fat content. Besides phosphorus, calcium and iron, it has magnesium, potassium, sodium, chlorine. Its derivatives are: butter; oil, much used in food; the flour, which has 10% water, 32.1% carbohydrates, 51.2% protein and only 5% fat. Peanut protein is easy to digest, which is not the case with peanut itself, especially when raw, given its high fat content. For this reason, in fact, peanuts are better suited for winter.
